Job summary

Hansen Industries Ltd in Richmond, BC is seeking a Brake Press Operator for our afternoon shift. You will read drawings, load and set up Amada or Trumpf brake presses, and bend parts to specification.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, at least 1 year on Amada or Trumpf machines, clear English, and the ability to work quickly and safely in a busy shop environment. We offer dental and extended health plans, RRSPs, and social events.

The person(s) we are looking to hire will work as BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR for our afternoon shift. The hours are from 4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday to Thursday. There is no transit available from 12am. MUST DRIVE.

This is what the Key Responsibilities are:

• Read, analyze and interpret drawings.
• Select, load and install tools.
• Bend parts as directed.
• Machine set up, maintenance and troubleshooting of machine.

• Help in other areas.

What Qualifications & requirements you need?

• Over 1 year of experience of set up and running Amada or Trumpf machines.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Clear written and spoken English to train.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
