Job summary

Bushbalm is seeking a Public Relations and Community Manager to elevate our brand through earned media, brand moments, and an engaged social community. You will lead relationships with editors, manage the PR agency, and craft moments that generate coverage while guiding the social strategy to tell one cohesive story.

The role reports to the VP of Brand Strategy & Communications, requires 5+ years in PR/communications or social media within beauty or lifestyle brands, and offers remote/hybrid

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PR, communications or social media within beauty or lifestyle brands.
• Established network of beauty and lifestyle media contacts.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage a PR agency.

Responsibilities

• Lead PR and media relations, building relationships with key media contacts and developing stories that secure coverage.
• Manage the PR agency, including priorities, plans, materials, budgets, and performance.
• Plan and execute brand events, launches, collaborations, and gifting programs that generate media coverage.
• Own social media strategy, content direction, and channel priorities, aligning with campaigns.
• Lead and develop the social media team, overseeing calendars, approvals, and publishing.
• Build an engaged online community and oversee brand reputation and crisis communications.
