Job summary

Bushbalm is seeking a Master Educator to lead education for our PRO customers, delivering live demos, masterclasses, and video assets. You will serve as SME for the Education team and work across Bushbalm to empower estheticians and partners. This Ottawa-region role includes approximately 25% travel.

Ideal candidates are licensed estheticians with 5+ years in training, strong presentation and camera skills, and familiarity with LMS and digital education tools.

• Licensed esthetician with 5+ years in waxing and skincare education.
• 5+ years of formal training experience in beauty/skincare.
• Ability to travel internationally and present to large audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live demos and masterclasses across North America.
• Record educational videos and create assets for education library.
• Deliver webinars and moderate virtual events as needed.
• Co-facilitate trainings for Key Accounts and educate staff.
• Create internal workshops on product knowledge and techniques.
• Evaluate submissions for course assessments and certifications.

About the Role

The Master Educator will represent Bushbalm as senior educator for our PRO Customers. This newly created role will be focused on the delivery of live and video education, focused on Bushbalm PRO product knowledge and techniques.As an experienced wax hair removal esthetician, the Master Educator will also serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Education team and cross-functionally across Bushbalm. You bring a passion for delivering engaging, impactful education that drives performance and helps estheticians thrive in their businesses. This is an Ottawa region based role. Travel time will be approximately 25%.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 CAD

In this Role You Will

Education Delivery

• Conduct hands-on demos and masterclasses at industry and company events across North America
• Record video for education assets in Head Office Service Room
• Deliver webinars and moderate virtual events as needed
• Co-facilitate Key Account trainings
• Deliver internal product-related workshops for Customer-facing team members
• Evaluate submissions for assessed courses (e.g., certifications)

Education Content Creation

• Create social media content and ads with Marketing as the educational face of Bushbalm
• Collaborate with Education team on curriculum, script writing, and session planning
• Curate and validate educational content including skin physiology, product application techniques, and aftercare
• Collaborate on update of education content in asset library

Subject Matter Expert Consultation

• Liaise cross-functionally on FAQ, product planning, and educational product messaging
• Consult with in-house estheticians on education delivery best practices and signature demonstration methods
• Liaise with Bushbalm’s PRO esthetician community, gathering insights and education opportunities

Who You Are

• 5+ years as Licensed Esthetician or equivalent professional hair removal experience (including waxing)
• 5+ years of experience in training within the beauty, skincare, or professional spa industry
• Ability to travel internationally
• Able to communicate complex content simply, to optimize learner knowledge retention and application
• Charisma and natural ability to work in front of a camera or in front of large audiences
• Familiar with use of education delivery platforms including LMS, Intranet, TikTOK, YouTube and other social media
• Technically proficient with esthetic equipment, mobile broadcasting, presentation software, and video conferencing tools
• Solopreneur, franchise or B2B experience an asset

Project work required if candidate is shortlisted:

Only successful candidates will be asked to submit a recording of them demonstrating a segment of a wax service and to deliver a short product training live in an additional interview with leadership. More details will be provided on how to complete the assignment after first interviews have been completed.
