Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Canada. You will help develop the annual business plan, manage a branch's operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure excellent client service while mentoring staff and maintaining compliance.

A proactive leader with insurance licensing and industry designations will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will oversee business development, client experience, and operational efficiency, with compensation and benefits

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively with direct reports, colleagues and frontline talent to create a results-driven and team-oriented environment.
• Strong communications skills (verbal & written).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of individuals (internal and external).
• Passion and firm understanding of business and financials.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a department or branch.
• Level 2 General Insurance License.
• Industry designation an asset (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM).

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan with Branch Manager to meet targets across all lines of business.
• Drive new business, client retention and branch growth.
• Enhance client experience and adopt best practices for branch operations.
• Maximize efficiency through central processing and active community engagement.
• Participate in business and industry networks to enhance branch presence.
