Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Canada. You will help develop the annual business plan, manage a branch's operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure excellent client service while mentoring staff and maintaining compliance.

A proactive leader with insurance licensing and industry designations will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will oversee business development, client experience, and operational efficiency, with compensation and benefits

Qualifications

Ability to work collaboratively with direct reports, colleagues and frontline talent to create a results-driven and team-oriented environment.
Strong communications skills (verbal & written).
Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of individuals (internal and external).
Passion and firm understanding of business and financials.
Strong organizational skills.
Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a department or branch.
Level 2 General Insurance License.
Industry designation an asset (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM).

Responsibilities

Develop annual business plan with Branch Manager to meet targets across all lines of business.
Drive new business, client retention and branch growth.
Enhance client experience and adopt best practices for branch operations.
Maximize efficiency through central processing and active community engagement.
Participate in business and industry networks to enhance branch presence.
