Job summary

RBC in Windsor, Canada, seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a high-performing Advisors team. You will coach to maximize sales and referrals, promote digital education, and ensure first-contact problem resolution, while aligning with RBC goals and values.

You will drive talent development, collaborate across roles, and focus on community engagement to grow the branch and client base in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a people management/coaching role within the financial industry.
• Proven success in business growth and building community/client relationships.
• At least 2 years of licensed mutual fund sales within the last 3 years.
• Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC).
• Completion of a mutual fund branch management exam (BCO) or ability to write within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing Advisors team to achieve sales and referral goals.
• Drive engagement with strong sales management routines and coaching ability.
• Collaborate with the manager to ensure branch operational effectiveness and team performance.
• Inspire retail excellence to deliver a memorable client experience.
• Coach on client advice, education, and problem resolution at first contact; promote digital multichannel usage.
• Leverage internal/external partners to support business objectives.
• Address local community needs through targeted recruitment and management practices.
