Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
2. Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
3. Conduct bank and account reconciliations
4. Prepare financial statements and reports for internal use
5. Assist with payroll entries and remittances
6. Handle HST and other government filings
7. Support month-end and year-end processes
8. Collaborate with internal departments and external accountants as needed
9. Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents

Requirements

1. 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
2. Experience in the food industry or similar environment preferred
3. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
4. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
5. Excellent communication and time management abilities
