We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced LATAM-based Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper to support our growing bookkeeping and accounting firm. This opportunity is ideal for someone proficient in QuickBooks Online and who understands U.S. bookkeeping standards. Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts for multiple U.S.-based clients.
• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including monthly closing and reconciliation tasks.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and customized client reports.
• Conduct timely bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support month-end processes and ensure clean financial records.

QuickBooks Online Management :

• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain up-to-date records.
• Create custom reports and dashboards within QBO to support client needs.
• Maintain accuracy in data entry and monitor account balances and financial trends.

Expense Tracking & Reporting :

• Manage business expense tracking and ensure proper classifications.
• Prepare and submit detailed expense reports for internal and client review.
• Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding documentation and approvals.

Administrative & Data Support :

• Provide general administrative and data support as needed.
• Assist in organizing digital files and maintaining client documentation.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth workflows.

Client Interaction (Future) :

• Train toward becoming a client-facing bookkeeper, handling client communications professionally and clearly.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Based in Latin America (LATAM) – preference for candidates in Colombia.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, month-end close, and expense reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple client accounts.
