Longhouse Branding & Marketing in Langley, BC is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, reporting, and CRM tasks in a flexible, hybrid arrangement.
You will support payroll and HR-related tasks, ensure regulatory compliance, and help build scalable financial processes that enable growth for our North American clients and partners.

Compensation: $22 – $34.67 per hour, based on experience
The Bookkeeper keeps Longhouse's financial operations accurate, organized, and on time. From invoicing and accounts receivable to reporting and compliance, the role gives leadership the financial visibility they need to plan and grow the business.
With the right candidate, this role could open to additional or full-time hours with the added responsibility of Office Management. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, answering the phone and being the first point of contact for partners as well as other office admin tasks to keep our office running smoothly.

Monitor and manage financial transactions such as purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
Create, distribute, and follow up on invoices so payments come in on time.
Produce accurate reports covering payables, receivables, cash flow, and overall financial status to support strategic planning.
Maintain customer relationship management systems with current account information and communications.
Handle financial correspondence promptly and accurately.
Manage the complete financial lifecycle of the company by accurately recording day-to-day transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing finalized financial statements.
Keep financial practices aligned with HR compliance standards and WorkSafe regulations.
Oversee bookkeeping and financial projects, keeping tasks on time and on budget while collaborating with our team.
Build procedures and frameworks that help Longhouse grow. Sample projects include documenting processes, building reporting frameworks, and staying current on industry trends.
Assisting with payroll, general HR support and setting up employment docs as needed.
