Job summary

Vision Transportation in Mississauga is seeking a Rates Coordinator to support the rates team by ensuring customer charges match established rate agreements. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with responsibilities spanning billing and administration to maintain accurate pricing and records.

You will review invoices, determine tariff applicability, verify weights and charges, and collaborate with Dispatch to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in an office environment.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Mathematically adept.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and verify charges against quotes or tariffs.
• Determine if orders auto-rate from existing tariffs or require manual rating.
• Verify weight/cube/footage is correctly applied for rating.
• Assess whether additional accessorial charges (e.g., tailgate) are needed.
• Set the order status to CREATE after billing is verified.
• Investigate discrepancies with Dispatch to reach resolution.
• Update Rates Sheet and ensure current information is reflected in systems.
• Run Zero-Rated Status Reports daily.
• Monitor and route emails across communication platforms (e.g., TMW).
• Assign emails to teammates and ensure timely follow-up.
