Job summary

BuildingPoint Canada, a division of Cansel, is seeking a bilingual Technical Sales Representative to drive growth for SketchUp and ScaffPlan solutions across Canada. You will prospect, develop new business, grow client relationships, and ensure customer needs are met while driving revenue.

Work with customers and internal teams to tailor solutions and build partnerships that create long-term value. You will identify needs, resolve challenges, and communicate the value of SketchUp and ScaffPlan

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French, written and verbal.
• Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Clear, effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Strategic, customer-first approach to understanding needs and delivering value.
• Construction or sales background preferred.
• Experience with design software/CAD/BIM or related tools.
• Track record of achieving sales targets (nice to have).
• Experience using CRM tools to manage pipelines (nice to have).
• Knowledge of contract negotiation and sales forecasting (nice to have).
• Experience with sales reporting and KPI tracking (nice to have).
• Ability to collaborate across internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and identify new business opportunities across Canada.
• Develop and grow relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead business reviews and strategic meetings with customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges and deliver solutions.
• Negotiate contracts to support profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance and report progress to leadership.
• Maintain accurate sales activities and pipeline in the CRM.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitors.
