Job summary

Grainger in Saint-Laurent, QC is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead an Inside Sales Centre and drive sales performance. You will develop a motivated team, train sales staff, set priorities with Sales Development, and ensure targets are met while upholding ethics and collaboration with Branch Managers.

Ideal candidates bring several years selling and sales management experience, strong organization and communications, and bilingual proficiency in English and French to interact with

Qualifications

• Graduation from Technical School, University and/or College with focus on Sales & Marketing Management, plus experience
• Several years of successful selling and preferably sales management experience
• Experience and proven ability to supervise and motivate a large sales force
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Proven ability to make own decisions as required within defined limits of the position
• Bilingualism (English and French) is required for this position; 50% of interactions outside Québec

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a motivated and competent team capable of achieving sales goals
• Lead the professional development and training of Sales Force
• Set priorities and action plans with Manager, Sales Development
• Ensure sales penetration, market share and GM% growth targets are met
• Review progress to budget at least each fiscal quarter and provide feedback
• Ensure adherence to the Code of Ethics
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and Inside Account Managers to meet customer needs
• Develop sales programs within the small business environment with a professional, organized approach
