Job summary

RBC Insurance Group in Montréal seeks a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto, responsible for delivering clear insurance guidance over the phone. You will help clients protect what matters most, building trust and providing an exceptional client experience.

Key duties include needs assessments, regulatory awareness, and collaboration with RBC partners to meet personal and team sales goals. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to navigate multiple insurance

Qualifications

• Must have: Quebec Damage Insurance certificate or ability to obtain, plus General Insurance License for Ontario/other provinces (training provided).
• Bilingualism (English and French) required for servicing English/French clients.
• Exceptional customer service with strong relationship-building ability.
• Flexibility to work all shifts; Home & Auto Advice Centre operates Mon–Fri 8:00am–8:30pm.
• Digital literacy across smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Demonstrate consistent, positive client experience and resolve concerns at first contact.
• Complete personalized needs assessments and reviews using tools and calculators to support recommendations.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting and updating home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team.
