Job summary

RBC Insurance in Montréal, Quebec invites applications for a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto. You’ll provide insurance advice and options to help clients protect what’s important to them over the phone with empathy and clarity.

You will contribute to individual and team sales goals by proactively recommending personal home and auto insurance solutions to new and existing clients, and referring them to partners within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have bilingual English/French, regularly serve clients with English and French speaking needs.
• Possession of the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate delivered by l’Autorité des marchés financiers or the willingness and ability to obtain it and the General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces (training offered by RBC).
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with clients.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within the hours of operation (Home & Auto Advice Centre 8:00am–8:30pm).
• Digital literacy across a broad range of services (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Exhibit a consistent, positive client experience with every conversation and resolve client concerns at first point of contact.
• Complete personalized needs assessments and reviews using tools and calculators to demonstrate value and support advice.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting and updating home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Cultivate & maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team.
