Job summary

RBC Insurance in Montréal is seeking a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto to guide clients with informed insurance choices over the phone, delivering empathetic, clear advice and aiming for exceptional experiences.

In this role you’ll promote personal home and auto solutions, contribute to sales goals, and collaborate with partners across RBC to serve our clients with integrity and expertise.

Qualifications

• Quebec Damage Insurance certificate or willingness to obtain and the General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces (training offered by RBC).
• Bilingualism (English and French) required for regular English and French speaking needs.
• Exceptional customer service skills with strong relationship-building ability.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within hours of operation (8:00am–8:30pm).
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Exhibit a consistent, positive client experience and resolve concerns at first contact.
• Complete personalized needs assessments using tools and calculators to support recommendations.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients and collaborate with RBC partners.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships to work as one RBC team.
