Job summary

Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa is seeking an Executive Lounge Attendant (Part-Time). You will provide professional, friendly service in the Executive Lounge, assist with setup, and offer menu knowledge to guests, while maintaining a welcoming ambiance and strong guest relationships.

The role requires Food and Beverage serving experience, Smart Serve, and excellent English/French communication. Benefits include a 50% F&B discount, Accor worldwide rates, health benefits and development

Qualifications

Food and Beverage serving experience required.
Smart Serve certification required.
Excellent interpersonal and English/French communication skills.
Must possess a professional presentation.
Strong problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Provide exceptional service in the Executive Lounge.
Set up and break down of all food and beverage presentations in the lounge.
Assist guests with menu items; know garnishes and preparation methods.
Maintain lounge ambiance and cleanliness; change ambience between presentations.
Clear dishes; ensure service areas are clean.
Develop guest relationships to promote Executive Lounge loyalty.
Provide Concierge information on local attractions.
Organize pantry and storage for efficiency; manage inventory.
Collaborate with culinary and stewarding departments.
