Job summary

Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa is seeking an Executive Lounge Attendant for a part-time role. You will provide professional service in the Executive Lounge, manage setup and presentation of breakfast, coffee/tea, bar service and canapés, and assist guests with menu items and local recommendations.

The position requires Food & Beverage serving experience, Smart Serve certification, and strong English/French communication. Great benefits and a 50% discount at F&B outlets are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, engaging service in the Executive Lounge.
• Set up and break down all food and beverage presentations in the lounge.
• Assist guests with menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Maintain lounge ambiance and cleanliness across service areas.
• Identify guest preferences to build loyal Executive Lounge relationships.
• Offer personalized Concierge information about local attractions.
• Organize pantry and storage areas for efficiency.
• Assist with inventory for pantry and storage (food and liquor).
• Collaborate with culinary and stewarding departments.
