Job summary

The YMCA of the National Capital Region is seeking a Case Manager to deliver Employment Consulting services within the National Capital region, focusing on Ontario Works clients and those facing barriers to employment. You will plan, deliver, and monitor services, match job seekers to opportunities, recruit employers, and manage government-funded training program processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment counselling and job development/matching.
• Experience with case management and data entry.
• Intermediate computer skills (databases, Microsoft Suite).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full needs assessments of clients.
• Provide employment consultation and develop action plans for job searches.
• Assist clients in achieving employment goals by following up on action plans.
• Prepare clients for employment with life skills, job search, and pre-employment workshops.
• Advocate for clients with community employers and services to move toward goals.
• Collaborate with team and partners to find opportunities and monitor progress.
