Job summary

Recruit Action inc. in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a dynamic Travel Insurance Support Specialist to assist travelers, coordinate required services, and explain coverage with a high level of customer service.

The role is permanent and hybrid, with 7:00 am–11:00 pm coverage and on-site training for 90 days. You will support insured members, families, and medical facilities, open claim files, and guide clients through the claims process in both English and French.

Qualifications

• Requires college diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, telecommunications, or claims assistance.
• Bilingual in English and French to assist clients in both languages; a third language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming client calls and provide professional and empathetic support.
• Act as a resource for insured members, families, and medical facilities regarding coverage and benefits.
• Open claim files and direct clients to appropriate healthcare providers.
• Explain travel insurance coverage, including exclusions and maximum limits.
• Authorize certain medical tests and coordinate services when needed.
• Assist clients through the claims process and ensure follow-ups.
• Document interactions in the claims management system.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve requests and complaints.
• Maintain high level of customer service in a fast-paced, team environment.
