belairdirect in Canada is hiring a Bilingual Associate, Sales and Customer Service to join our growing team. You’ll become a trusted advisor helping Canadians protect the things they care about through excellent communication and attentive service.

We offer mentorship, a three-month training schedule, and an evening, 40-hour workweek after training, with night shift premiums. Hybrid work at Montreal or Sherbrooke offices and a January 11, 2027 start date are provided.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• You must speak French and regularly serve a French-speaking clientele.
• Willingness to complete provincial insurance licence exam.

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role

We're looking for Bilingual Associates, Sales and Customer Service to join our growing team!

We'll provide you with mentorship and training as you pursue your career goals, and your success will be recognized with our annual bonus plan and accelerated career path which will provide you with an opportunity for promotion after six months in the role.

Your training schedule

The training lasts three months:

• First two months: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Last month: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

After training , you will work an evening schedule of 40 hours/week :

Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., plus every fourth Saturday in rotation.

As a bonus, you will receive a premium for all your evening shifts.

At belairdirect, you will enjoy a hybrid work model that allows you to balance your professional and personal life. This position is based at our Montreal (2020, Robert-Bourassa) or Sherbrooke (2665, King West) offices.

What you'll do here

• Play a key role in providing customers with the best possible insurance coverage for their most valuable assets by advising them throughout the process and answering their questions about our products so they can make informed choices.
• Analyze customer needs, promote products and services, and propose innovative choices and solutions.
• Help home and auto insurance customers choose from the various insurance solutions offered.
• Contribute to the development of new initiatives and support their implementation.

What you bring to the table

• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• Strong team spirit, ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues on various projects.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to empathize with others.
• You must speak French - Requires answering calls and providing service to a French-speaking clientele on a regular basis
• Customer-driven approach and an eagerness to put your listening and advising skills to good use with customers.
• Ability to multi-task and stay cool under pressure.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work on multiple systems simultaneously.
• Willingness to complete the provincial exam to obtain your insurance licence.
• No Canadian work experience is required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Please note that this is an inbound call centre position and we are looking for candidates who are willing to work evenings, Saturdays and occasional statutory holidays.
