As an Administrative Assistant specializing in business administration, your everyday responsibilities will span a wide array of administrative, financial, and logistical workflows. You will oversee the complete vehicle sales and disposition process, including drafting sales documentation, researching current market values, completing accurate vehicle appraisals and history reports, posting active inventory online, and organizing auction registrations and vehicle pickups. Furthermore, you will manage specialized donation-vehicle programs (such as the Kidney Foundation program, scrap tracking, and car-sales spreadsheets), process incoming payments, issue supporting documentation and cheques, and compile detailed weekly reporting packages. From monitoring auction lists (such as IAA and ICBC) to issuing electronic tracking tickets, generating gate passes, performing record reconciliations, and dispatching towing providers, your organizational mastery will keep operations moving efficiently. Beyond vehicle sales logistics, the Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive office administration, audit coordination, and technology support. You will maintain optimal office efficiency by ordering supplies, managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages, coordinating bank deposit pickups, processing cheque backup requests, and shipping operational samples. You will also play a critical role in company compliance by pulling audit sample tickets, securing missing load images, collecting signed documentation, and preparing complete packages for review. Additionally, you will support technology coordination by assisting IT teams with ordering, imaging, maintaining, and replacing desktop and laptop hardware. Success as an Administrative Assistant in business administration relies on strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and a high degree of comfort navigating spreadsheets, online databases, and document management platforms.
