The Business Development Representative will drive lead and opportunity generation by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be sales-oriented, self-motivated, and have a keen interest in financial technologies (FinTech) and cybersecurity.

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional who is looking to grow within our organization and the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting, lead generation, and qualification for the professional services and products we offer to organizations in the financial services industry, especially banks and credit unions.
  2. Research and identify target accounts that align with our product and service offerings.
  3. Develop and leverage ideal customer profiles (ICPs) to effectively identify and target the right personas, including key decision-makers and various types of buyers.
  4. Outbound cold and warm outreach – initiate contact with prospects via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate interest in Accutive FinTech’s services and products.
  5. Continuously develop knowledge of the financial services industry, partner products, regulatory compliance, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  6. Lead qualification – assess and qualify inbound and outbound leads.
  7. CRM management – maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, lead status, and pipeline updates.
  8. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and strategies for engaging new customers.
  9. Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  10. Assist Account Executives with the deal process, as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. 1-3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or related field, preferably in FinTech, Cybersecurity, or SaaS.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business administration, sales, or related field.
  3. Strong research and data interpretation skills.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Pro-active, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  6. Experience working with Salesforce or other CRMs.
  7. Experience building and executing outbound and nurturing sequences using tools like Apollo.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a global team.
  9. Ability to speak French is an asset.
