As our Bilingual Business Development Representative, you will spearhead our outreach into the Korean-owned business community across the GTA. You’ll balance phone and email prospecting with in-person visits, leveraging your cultural fluency to build trust with business owners. Your primary goal is to uncover staffing needs, nurture leads through consultative conversations, and secure face-to-face appointments for our senior closers, driving new client contracts and commissionable revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Call and email an initial list of Korean-owned businesses, crafting personalized messages that resonate with each owner’s needs.
  • Travel within the GTA to visit businesses in person, deliver Canadian Bridge business cards, introduce our services, and speak directly with owners.
  • Research and build a pipeline of new prospects via community networks, online directories, and referrals.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to uncover each prospect’s staffing requirements and pain points.
  • Book in-office meetings for our senior sales team to negotiate and close contracts.
  • Prepare concise briefing notes on each prospect for a seamless handoff to senior representatives.
  • Log all interactions—calls, visits, notes, next steps—in our CRM.
  • Deliver weekly performance reports covering outreach metrics, appointments secured, and feedback gathered.

Skills

  • Language & Cultural Fluency: Fluent in Korean and strong English; deep understanding of Korean business etiquette.
  • Sales Experience: 1–3 years in B2B sales or staffing, with a track record of hitting targets.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident phone presence; polished in-person demeanour; consultative approach.
  • Self-Motivation: Driven to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exceed monthly goals.

Compensation & Growth:

  • Initial 30-Day Trial:Commission-only—earn uncapped commission based solely on performance.
  • Post-Trial:Competitive base salary starting at a minimum of $60,000 CAD annually, plus uncapped commissions, tiered commission structure, performance bonuses, and professional development support.
