Job summary

BeachHead Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Banking Associate in Montreal to join a top financial client’s back-office team. You’ll manage information requests, ensure SLA compliance, and handle confidential data in a collaborative environment.

With 1–2 years in banking, you’ll use MS 365 tools and communicate with internal teams and agencies. This role supports compliance activities and aims to improve service delivery while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • 1-2 years of experience in banking or financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of banking products such as foreign exchange, money market deposits, and loans is a plus.
  • Knowledge of compliance procedures and government request handling is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage information requests efficiently through paper forms, email, or software systems, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Review, assign, and input request details into the system, maintaining adherence to established SLAs.
  • Generate, validate, and finalize documentation and responses, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external agencies, including government entities, handling sensitive data.
  • Escalate operational issues or non-standard requests for appropriate resolution.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Support compliance-related activities and processing of government-based information requests.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of internal policies, regulations, and industry trends impacting operations.
  • Prioritize workload to meet SLA requirements, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Review internal processes periodically and propose enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Exercise discretion in handling confidential information and handle high-risk activities.
  • Comply with all relevant frameworks, policies, and procedures, including Anti-Money Laundering and Business Continuity.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for aBilingual Banking Associate. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading financial institution in a collaborative and supportive team environment. The role involves managing sensitive information requests, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and supporting operational processes in a dynamic back-office setting.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $26.83/hr
