Job summary

MNP is seeking an Accounting Support Specialist to assist and escalate issues for accounting and assurance applications. This role supports primarily French-speaking team members and partners with English-speaking teams across Canada.

The successful candidate will have strong accounting software experience, CRM/ERP familiarity, and excellent communication skills in both French and English. This position emphasizes customer service and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounting and assurance applications or financial services.
• Experience with CRM/ERP platforms or enterprise tools.
• Fluent in English and French; able to collaborate across Canada.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, technology or business systems, or 2+ years exp.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication translating tech issues for non-technical users.
• Customer-service mindset and collaborative approach.
• Experience with accounting or assurance workflows, tax software, ITSM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and escalation support for accounting/assurance software.
• Assess requests and resolve or escalate accordingly.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and teammates.
• Document troubleshooting steps and knowledge base articles.
• Assist in preparing release notes and user training materials.
• Understand application functionality from user perspective to improve processes.
• Identify recurring issues and coordinate with dev/product teams.
• Suggest improvements to workflows and user experience.
