What's the role?

Our account managers serve as the go-to contact for our customers, embodying our purpose to make construction better by being their partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts and be given ownership to build a work schedule that best suits you and your customers. You’ll make sales by maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on the spot, and providing high level customer consultation.

Location

The selected candidate can reside in any of the following cities: Miramichi, Bathurst, Charlo, Campbellton, and Edmundston.

What does the role involve?
  • Building relationships – meet with customers at a moment’s notice or be actively present to capture the perfect business opportunity. Create value through long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Time and Territory Management (TTM) - create a daily schedule (including presence on jobsites and client offices) to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory.
  • Be a Hilti Champion – carry technical knowledge to present high-level customer consultations in your territory and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
  • Tracking your progress – utilize Salesforce to record interactions and sales activities, as reporting is a key part of this role.

What you need?
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least three years of outside sales experience, preferably with targets.
  • Hands-on attitude – demonstrating tools, using platforms like Salesforce, collaborating across departments.
  • Valid full Canadian driver’s license (Class 5 or G), company car provided.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.
  • Ability to walk on construction sites, climb scaffolding, lift up to 65 pounds.
  • Flexible and varied schedule.
  • Bilingual in French & English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, including to the US for training; visa responsibilities fall on the applicant.

Working Conditions
