Alstom in Toronto is seeking an experienced cost estimator to lead cost estimation, planning, and financial management for large-scale rail projects and tenders. You will work with Bid, Finance, Risk, and Project teams to develop and optimize budgets and ensure value for money.
The role requires a degree in Engineering/Mathematics/Business, 7+ years of estimating and cost management, expert Excel, and familiarity with Salesforce and Primavera P6.

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of our projects and tenders by leading and managing cost estimation, planning, control, and pricing activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Bid, Finance, Risk, and Project teams), developing and optimizing budgets, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of benchmarking exercises for internal evaluations and demonstrating value for money to clients, but also identifying cost savings and revenue-enhancing initiatives.

The expected compensation for this role is $102,000 – $134,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
