Alstom in Saint-Bruno, Quebec seeks a Mechanical Cost Analyst to drive cost efficiency across product families. You will develop methodologies to assess technical costs and create detailed cost models during the product development cycle.
You’ll work with engineering, sourcing and manufacturing to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide clear cost breakdowns for supplier negotiations. Fluency in French and English is required in our bilingual environment.

You’ll play a key role in driving cost efficiency and supporting product development across the organization. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing), develop methodologies for cost analysis, and promote a cost-conscious culture in engineering teams, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of creating cost models for product families, but also contribute to identifying and formalizing cost-saving opportunities.
