Alstom in Saint-Bruno, Quebec is seeking a Cost Analysis and Design to Cost engineer to drive cost efficiency and align technical definitions with financial objectives. You’ll collaborate with engineering, procurement and project management to drive cost-based decisions.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving cost efficiency and ensuring alignment between technical product definitions and financial objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, procurement, project management), coordinate Design to Cost studies, and lead brainstorming sessions to identify cost-saving opportunities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of calculating and validating cost baselines, as well as establishing governance structures for cost monitoring, but also ensuring stakeholder alignment and driving transformation of cost-saving opportunities into validated results.

Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
