Alstom in Etobicoke, Canada, is seeking a full-time Buyer to lead supplier selection, negotiations, and QCDT objectives across engineering, supply chain, and project management. You will set up supplier processes and deploy commodity strategies to meet project goals.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage supplier performance, and ensure on-time delivery during ramp-up, with travel between Mississauga and Willowbrook offices as needed.

Note : Available on-site five days per week, with flexibility to travel between the Mississauga and Willowbrook offices.
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supplier management expertise in a dynamic and cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of procurement projects, driving quality, cost, delivery, and technical (QCDT) objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, supply chain, and project management), lead supplier negotiations, and manage supplier relationships, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of setting up full supplier selection processes, but also deploying commodity strategies and ensuring supplier performance aligns with project goals.

The expected compensation for this role is $75,000 to $85,000, based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
