Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is seeking a Bellperson to warmly greet guests and provide a high level of service on arrival. You’ll assist with luggage, orient rooms, and act as a lobby ambassador, delivering memorable hospitality.

The role requires a valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s license, physical stamina, and a willingness to work weekends/holidays. Start date is September 2026; permanent position with benefits and staff accommodations.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Class 4 driver's license required and current driver's abstract free of serious demerit points.
• CPR and First Aid certification would be an asset.
• Must be physically capable of meeting the very physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and items within the property.
• Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly way.
• Maintain lobby presence as an ambassador and deliver exceptional service.
• Act as valet and park/retrieve guest vehicles.
• Receive and deliver items for guests.
• Address guest concerns and escalate to the Manager on Duty.
• Know hotel's emergency procedures.

Job Duties Include

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property
• Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way
• Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests
• Act as a valet parking attendant and park and retrieve guest vehicles
• Receive and deliver items for guests
• Addresses guest concerns and brings them to the attention of the Manager on Duty
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures

Qualifications
