Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking an attentive In-Room Dining Server to deliver meals and beverages to guests' rooms with warmth and precision.

You will keep updated on the menu, handle orders and payments, and ensure rooms are left neat while upholding Fairmont standards. Alberta ProServe and 1 year F&B experience are assets; on-site benefits include staff housing and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Alberta ProServe Certificate required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food & beverage an asset.
• Working knowledge of Micros, Property Manager and Microsoft applications an asset.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages per Fairmont's standards of presentation, ensuring orders are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
• Communicate effectively with guests, addressing any special dietary requirements, preferences, or concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel's menu and seasonal changes, to offer suggestions to guests.
• Accurately process orders and payments, ensuring guests' checks are correct and payments are processed.
• Ensure that guest rooms are left neat and tidy after delivery, removing any unused or empty items.

Job Description

As an In-Room Dining Server at Fairmont, you will provide exceptional, personalized service to guests by delivering meals and beverages directly to their rooms. You will ensure that each guest's experience exceeds their expectations through attentive service, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the hotel's offerings.

$17.22/hour

Job Duties
