Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park seeks a Bellperson to warmly greet guests, assist with luggage and orientation, and act as a brand ambassador in the lobby.

This permanent, full-time role pays $24.88/hour and requires an Alberta Class 4 license; CPR/First Aid is a plus. The position includes subsidized onsite housing, meals, a comprehensive benefits package and travel perks with Accor properties.

Responsibilities

• Know hotel safety and emergency procedures.

Job Duties Include:

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property
• Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way
• Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests
• Act as a valet parking attendant and park and retrieve guest vehicles
• Receive and deliver items for guests
• Addresses guest concerns and brings them to the attention of the Manager on Duty
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures

• Valid Alberta Class 4 driver's license (or equivalent) required and current driver's abstract free of any serious demerit points
• Certification in CPR and First Aid would be an asset
• Must be physically capable of meeting the very physical demands of the position
