Responsibilities

  • Provide warm greeting and personalized service to guests.
  • Assist with luggage storage and transportation arrangements.
  • Escort guests to rooms and brief on hotel amenities.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, dining, events, and attractions.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other teams.
  • Assist with valet operations and guest transportation as needed.
  • Deliver items and packages to guests and maintain lobby presentation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of lobby and arrival areas.
  • Support group arrivals and special guest requests.
  • Handle guest belongings safely following procedures.
  • Offer recommendations and create meaningful guest connections.

MAIN DUTIES:

The Bellperson serves as the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and memorable arrival experience through personalized service and genuine hospitality. The role is responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, providing information on hotel amenities and services, coordinating guest requests, and supporting seamless arrivals and departures.

GENERAL DUTIES
  • Provide a warm and welcoming arrival experience by greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and offering personalized service throughout their stay.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage, transportation arrangements, and other arrival and departure needs.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the hotel, including guest services, dining options, events, and nearby attractions.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Assist with valet operations and guest transportation coordination, as required.
  • Deliver guest items, packages, amenities, and special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the lobby, entrance, and guest arrival areas.
  • Support arrivals, group arrivals, and special guest requests.
  • Handle guest belongings with care while following hotel procedures and safety standards.
  • Provide recommendations and create meaningful connections that enhance the overall guest experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing role preferred. Experience in a luxury hospitality environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport guest luggage and heavy items as required.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Ability to speak an additional language or multiple languages is considered an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
