Becker's Chalets Jasper AB Hotel Front Desk and Reservations Attendant

Job Overview
Becker’s Chalets is a family‑oriented seasonal resort located 5 km south of Jasper townsite along the Athabasca River. This fixed‑term contract (April 9 2025 – October 26 2025) offers a pay range of $16.50–$19.00 per hour.

Schedule
8‑hour shift, Monday–Friday and weekend days. Shift times range from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. with occasional dual‑shift variables.

Job Description
As a front desk representative you will:

  • Interact with guests for check‑in, check‑out, general inquiries, gift‑shop purchases, and special requests.
  • Manage reservations using Visual One software and memorize reservation codes.
  • Answer phones, emails, and handle payments.
  • Clean, disinfect, organize, and restock the front desk and guest areas.
  • Fill out chalet gift certificates, communicate inter‑departmentally, and handle guest feedback.
  • Work with one other team member and perform spontaneous tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Experience: No experience required; prior front‑desk or customer‑service experience is an asset.
Required skills: Proficient in English, quick learning, works well under pressure, excellent communication, pleasant demeanor, strong attention to detail, organizational ability, customer‑service orientation, punctual, reliable, and adaptable.

Working Conditions
Work under pressure, handle positive and negative feedback, on‑site training provided, staff uniform, 30‑minute break, 6 days a week with 1 day off, supportive team environment.
