Job summary

Moment Energy seeks a Battery Engineering Co-op in Surrey to join our Engineering team. You will support the development and testing of our battery energy storage systems while gaining hands-on experience with real hardware and data.

You will work across multiple aspects of battery system development, including building test infrastructure, analyzing performance, and supporting modeling and simulation efforts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Good documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining battery testing labs and infrastructure.
• Support testing and characterization of battery cells, modules, and system components.
• Develop test plans and methodologies for battery performance evaluation.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and improvements.
• Assist in refining battery cell models for performance prediction.
• Support simulation of high‑voltage battery system architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers on system integration and documentation.
