Job summary

Moment Energy is seeking a Production Technician to build and assemble energy storage units for North American projects. You will create second-life battery systems, handling electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and supporting electrical builds in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience in assembling mechanical and/or electrical components.
• Knowledge of hand-tools with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Understanding of workplace safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work on a team and wear multiple hats to complete projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for final product integration.
• Support electrical builds and solder PCBs and wire harnesses.
• Insert rivets, nuts and fasteners into components.
• Follow assembly instructions and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Operate power hand tools (drills, impact drivers, grinders).
• Perform quality inspections and participate in process improvements.
• Receive, log and maintain inventory of production components.
