Job summary

New-Life Mills in Inkerman, Ontario is seeking a Batcher to join our production team. The role ensures accurate batching by mixing ingredients and medications per specifications, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

This full-time permanent position offers a wage of $28.66 per hour, with a rotating 8-hour shift and weekend opportunities, supporting inventory control and clean, compliant operations in a livestock nutrition facility.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• Experience in operating computerized processing equipment.
• Ability to read digital and video readouts with extreme accuracy.
• Maintain and file records accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to support an 8-hour rotating shift with occasional weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch specifications and formulas.
• Records and reviews all documentation for batch making.
• Manage inventory controls for shipping and receiving ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection of equipment.

Your Team

New-Life Mills: New-Life Mills has been a leader in livestock nutrition since 1964, providing feed solutions that support healthy, productive animals. With a focus on research, quality assurance, and species-specific expertise, we help farmers achieve optimal performance and profitability.

We are seeking a Batcher to join our New-Life Mills team. This role is responsible for the mixing of hand added ingredients, including medication, to produce quality batches ensuring all processes and standard operation procedures and guidelines are followed.
