Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited - Hanover Flour Mill in Hanover, ON is hiring a Night Loader (Wash Bay Attendant) to load and unload bulk and bagged flour and support mill operations.

This full-time, permanent role requires an AZ license, ability to work nights (12am–8am) and/or rotating shifts, and readiness to lift 25 kg while working in dusty, hot environments.

You will complete health and food safety training and contribute to safe, efficient shipments within the P&H Milling division.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Able to work in dusty environments and outside weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting 25 kg bags.
• Willing to work night shifts, weekends and OT as required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload bulk and bagged flour.
• Load Millfeeds and Feed Midds for shipment.
• Complete health, safety and food safety training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Team

P&H Milling: P&H Milling is Canada’s largest Canadian-owned milling company, producing high-quality flour and cereal products for bakeries, food manufacturers, and consumers. From coast to coast, we transform Canadian wheat into trusted products that feed families at home and abroad.

We are seeking a Night Loader (Wash Bay Attendant) to join our P&H Milling Group team. This role is responsible for loading and unloading bulk and bagged products at the facility.

We are looking for the following shifts:

Rotating Shift:

(2 Weeks Days, 1 Week Afternoon, OT as needed)

• Day Shift: 8am to 4pm (Monday to Friday)
• Afternoon Shift: 4pm to 12pm (Monday to Friday)

Night Shift:

• 12am to 8am (Sunday to Thursday)

Day to Day

• Loading and unloading bulk and bagged flour
• Loading of Millfeeds and Feed Midds for shipment
• Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Valid AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to work in environments subject to dust allergens and higher temperatures as well as in all outside weather conditions.
• Ability to complete Fall Arrest Training.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision and problem solve.
• Physically fit with the ability to safely lift 25kg bags.
• Be able to organize work in co-operation with other departments in an efficient manner.
• Reliable and dependable with an ability to work shiftwork, overtime and weekends as required.
