Job summary

Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa is seeking a Bartender to provide professional, friendly service and expert beverage knowledge. You will assist guests with the beverage menu, mix drinks, manage stock, and maintain knowledge of all promotions and menu items.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Excellent knowledge of all beverage products.
• Previous POS system experience an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent French will be an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Passing grade on beverage recruiting exam.

Responsibilities
