Job summary

Bâton Rouge in Kanata, Ontario is hiring a customer-focused team member who enjoys both cocktails and food service. No experience is required—we'll train you on site, and you’ll be paid for the training period.

You will prepare and serve drinks, assist servers, set up the bar, handle the cash register and inventory, and maintain hygiene and safety standards. Full-time or part-time hours available to grow with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve the different drinks
• Serve food
• Prepare drinks for the waiters
• Set up the bar
• Be responsible for the cash register and inventory
• Apply the rules of hygiene, health and safety in the workplace
• Follow the operating instructions and maintain the equipment
• Ensure the constant cleanliness of his workstation
• Respect stock rotation
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, warehouses, and other storage areas in accordance with inventory rotation
• Operate the glasswasher and store the glasses in the appropriate places
• Ensure and execute all other tasks requested by the manager

You are of legal age, enjoy working with the public, building relationships, maintaining a conversation, developing your clientele, creating and serving cocktails, and food, all while following the standards. You want to evolve with a dynamic and professional team. You don't have the necessary experience? Don't worry, we'll train you on site, and you’ll get paid for it. We also offer several training courses in Hygiene and Sanitation, Occupational Health and Safety, as well as training on hazardous products and materials. We have developed a mentoring program to help you find your way around.
