Job summary

Niagara Casinos is seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender for a fixed-term contract in the Niagara Falls area. The role involves preparing and serving beverages, delivering exceptional guest service, and supporting a fast-paced, 24/7 operation at our casino venues.

The ideal candidate has bartending experience, a Bartending certificate, and a Smart Serve certificate, with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 - 12 months bartending experience.
• Bartending certificate from a specialized institution and/or equivalent experience.
• Smart Serve certificate.
• Excellent guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving guests’ beverages in accordance to established standards in a timely manner
• Providing remarkable service, by recognizing and anticipating guest’s needs
• Working with a beer and liquor inventory management system
• Product knowledge, including prices
• Managing a float, preparing end of shift cash transactions and exchanging monetary funds
• Maintaining a clean, organized and well stocked bar
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
