Job summary

Niagara Casinos seeks a friendly Bartender to join our team at Casino Niagara. You will prepare and serve beverages, maintain stock, and provide remarkable guest service in a high-volume environment.

This fixed-term position offers opportunities to showcase knowledge of drinks, manage a float, and ensure a clean, organized bar area. The ideal candidate has 6–12 months bartending experience, a Bartending certificate or equivalent, and Smart Serve certification.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months bartending experience.
• Bartending certificate and/or Smart Serve certificate.
• Excellent guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving guests’ beverages in accordance to established standards in a timely manner.
• Providing remarkable service, by recognizing and anticipating guest’s needs.
• Working with a beer and liquor inventory management system.
• Product knowledge, including prices.
• Managing a float, preparing end of shift cash transactions and exchanging monetary funds.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and well stocked bar.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels.
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties.
