Job summary

Niagara Casinos is seeking a Room Attendant to join our team on a fixed-term basis. You will clean guest rooms and public areas, make beds, replace amenities, and ensure safety and hospitality standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate shows attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a friendly team. This position supports a 24/7 operation at our luxury casino properties.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining assigned guest rooms and public areas.
• Making beds, removing used linens, emptying trash, dusting and vacuuming.
• Cleaning bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Replenishing amenities and reporting maintenance issues.
• Responding to guest requests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with safety and OH&S policies.
• Move and handle supplies, lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds.
• Support a 24/7 operation as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

The job involves:

• Cleaning and maintaining 14 smoking or non-smoking credits per day
• Removing sheets from beds, making beds, emptying garbage containers, dusting and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, jacuzzis and mirrors
• Replenishing amenities
• Inspecting and reporting equipment damage or malfunction
• Responding to guest calls and cleaning common areas when needed
• Handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
• Lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds repetitively throughout your shift
• Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
