Job summary

Germain Hotels group is seeking two Baristas to join Terre Café, one full-time and one part-time. You will craft hot and cold beverages, welcome guests, and contribute to a friendly cafe atmosphere.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, hospitality experience is a plus, physical stamina to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Training provided and employee benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a similar position or in the hotel industry is an asset.
• Knowledge of tea, coffee and table service is an asset.
• Good physical fitness: standing for several hours, able to lift up to 50 lb.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Know, describe, prepare and serve items on the menu (hot/cold drinks, snacks).
• Keep work environment and equipment clean, disinfected, and organized.
• Ensure supplies are optimized and health and safety requirements are met.
• Check temperatures of freezers and refrigerators to optimize operation.

Are you passionate about latte art? Do you like to please people by making them a coffee that makes them smile? We're looking for an energetic Barista with a genuine love of customer service. This dedicated professional prepares a variety of beverages for our guests, listening carefully to their needs, advising them on our best products and assisting them with their requests.

We are looking for 1 full-time Barista and 1 part-time Barista to join the team at the Terre Café!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Know, describe, prepare and serve the items on our menu: hot and cold drinks, snacks, etc.
• Ensure that the work environment and the equipment are always clean, disinfected and well organized.
• Ensure that supplies are optimized and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Check the temperature of freezers, refrigerators and other machines to optimize their operation.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Experience in a similar position or in the hotel industry, an asset
