Job summary

The Terre Café at Germain Hôtels invites applications for 1 full-time Barista and 1 part-time Barista. You will prepare beverages, listen to guests, and advise on our best products while supporting smooth cafe operations.

We’re seeking energetic individuals with customer service passion, hotel experience is a plus, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays. Hygienic practices and teamwork are essential to thrive here.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a similar position or in the hotel industry is an asset.
• Knowledge of tea, coffee and table service is an asset.
• Good physical fitness: standing for several hours and lifting up to 50 lb.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Know, describe, prepare and serve the items on our menu: hot and cold drinks, snacks, etc.
• Ensure that the work environment and the equipment are always clean, disinfected and well organized.
• Ensure that supplies are optimized and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Check the temperature of freezers, refrigerators and other machines to optimize their operation.
