Job summary

Germain Hotels group in Mississauga is seeking a Breakfast Server to warmly greet guests, take orders, and support bar and catering areas with attentive service.

Schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., minimum 3 days per week. You will ensure guest satisfaction, assist with setup/closing, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards while delivering a welcoming, family-like hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Restaurant service experience is an asset
• Good physical condition: stand for hours and lift up to 50 lb
• Excellent stress and pressure management skills
• Sociable and team player with clear communication

Responsibilities

• Be on the lookout for guests' needs to offer them a unique experience: know and understand the menu to inform or recommend
• Help set up, open and close the bar and catering area
• Take orders and serve all food and beverages
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests throughout the service
• Ensure the working environment and equipment are clean, disinfected and well organized
• Comply with current laws and regulations regarding alcohol

Does listening to and advising others come naturally to you? We're looking for a Brakfast Server who really enjoys taking care of people. This energetic person offers attentive service and knows how to greet a guest as if he or she were a member of the family, making them feel truly welcome.

Please note that the schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for a minimum of 3 working days per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Be on the lookout for guests' needs to offer them a unique experience: know and understand the menu so you can inform them or make recommendations.
• Help set up, open and close the bar and catering area.
• Take orders and serve all food and beverages.
• Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests throughout the service.
• Ensure that the working environment and equipment are always clean, disinfected and well organized.
• Comply with current laws and regulations regarding alcohol.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• High school diploma or equivalent, an asset
• Experience in restaurant service, an asset
• Good physical condition: must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift/carry loads of up to 50 lb
• Excellent stress and pressure management skills
• Sociable and team player
• Natural ability to communicate well

The hourly rate for this role is 17,81$, in alignment with internal equity.
