Position: Bar Manager

Join our team at Glowbal Restaurant on West Georgia, located in Vancouver’s TELUS Garden, where North American cuisine is celebrated with quality ingredients from across the continent.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the bar within company policies and procedures.
  2. Respond to customer service needs.
  3. Rotate between bars and assist with bar services as needed.
  4. Model leadership behaviors in the restaurant.
  5. Conduct scheduled bar inventory.
  6. Order spirits and beers.
  7. Track invoices, product arrivals, and beverage costs.
  8. Develop seasonal cocktail menus and submit beverage costs.
  9. Create beverage specification sheets for staff training.
  10. Motivate and recognize team members.
  11. Coach and train staff for success and operational excellence.
  12. Ensure guest satisfaction and maximize profits.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 2 years of relevant management experience.
  2. At least 4 years of bartending experience.
  3. Certification in liquor, wine, and food service is an asset.
  4. Proficiency with industry-related computer and electronic systems.
  5. Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Excellent organization and time management.
  7. Ability to prioritize and motivate staff.
  8. Hands-on management style.
  9. Exceptional leadership skills.
  10. Commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
Minimum Requirements:

Legal eligibility to work in Canada with proof of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residence, or a valid Work Permit. Valid Social Insurance Number required.
