Job summary

Shamrock Storehouse Stadium in Vancouver seeks anexperienced Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations. You will lead staff, manage schedules, monitor beverage quality, and ensure excellent guest service in a high-volume setting.

As part of a hospitality-driven team, you will control inventories, maintain health and safety standards, and drive sales while staying within budget. This role reports to the General Manager and requires flexibility and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• College diploma in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience in F&B.
• Serving It Right certified.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Proficiency with POS software.
• Strong knowledge of beverages and service standards.
• Knowledge of local alcohol regulations and health codes.
• Inventory control and basic accounting understanding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly schedules for bartender, barback and server staff.
• Monitor beverage inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of bar, dining area, and restrooms.
• Review sales and beverage costs and reconcile discrepancies.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly per guidelines.
• Oversee beverage preparation and ensure quality.
• Maintain high level of customer service.
• Greet guests professionally and manage interactions.
• Aim to meet sales targets within budget.
• Interview, onboard and train new staff with GM.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Calling all experienced Bar Managers in Vancouver! Shamrock Storehouse Stadium is actively searching for an experienced Bar Manager. The Bar Manager, under the direction of the General Manager, will primarily be responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day operations of the bar. You should be customer focused and profit driven to succeed in this role. Job Duties:

• Prepare weekly schedules for bartender, barback and server staff to adequately cover all shifts. Provide for coverage in case of employee absence and adjust staffing as necessary to meet business demands.
• Monitor inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock is maintained and to prevent excess pours or abuse by staff. Requisition purchases as needed.
• Oversee cleanliness of bar & dining area as well as restrooms, paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations.
• Review sales and beverage costs, and reconcile any discrepancies in accounting. Ensure proper cash management.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
• Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure quality of product served
• Responsible for maintaining a consistently high level of customer service
• Greet and handle all guest interaction with a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
• Resolve all customer complaints
• Strive to achieve sales targets while respecting budget during day-to-day operations.
• Along with the GM, interview, onboard and train new employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Completion of a college diploma in hospitality, food and beverage service management or other related disciplines is a plus.
• Previous supervisory experience in the food & beverage industry.
• Serving It Right cert
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Proficiency with point-of-sale software.
• Extensive working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance.
• Competency in resource management and inventory control.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, personnel management and marketing.
