Job Description

A Bakery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing baking operations, including preparing dough, mixing batters, baking various goods, decorating baked items, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The role involves operating baking equipment, following or creating recipes, and maintaining quality standards.

1. Baking:
   • Set oven temperatures and monitor baking processes.
   • Bake a variety of products including breads, cakes, pies, and pastries.
2. Decoration (if applicable):
   • Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods.
3. Other Duties:
   • Follow or develop new recipes.
   • Handle special customer orders.
   • Operate and maintain baking machinery.
   • Ensure quality and food safety compliance.
   • Clean and organize the bakery area.
   • Assist with sales transactions and customer service as needed.
   • Prepare and shape dough, fill pans, and set up workstations.
   • Measure ingredients accurately and operate mixers or blenders.
