Central Alberta Co-op is seeking a Bakery/Deli Supervisor for the Eckville Food Store in Central Alberta. The role is full-time with a 40-hour work week, offering benefits after 3 months. Relocation guidance for out-of-province hires notes AB Health coverage requirements.

The supervisor will lead a fast-paced team, manage ordering and display of merchandise, ensure policy adherence, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting budgeted goals and Co-op membership growth.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.

Responsabilités

• Be a productive team member while promoting Co-op memberships and benefits.
• Be familiar with Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures.
• Assist store management in the organization, direction, and coordination of the department to achieve budgeted goals.
• Order, receive, and display merchandise.
• Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner and assist with the management/leadership of team members within the department.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist in reducing theft and loss.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Position

Baker/Deli Supervisor

Full-time

40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability

Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities
